Stroke Recovery
What is Stroke Recovery?
A stroke happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted or reduced, preventing brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrients. This can affect movement, speech, sensation, and thinking on one or both sides of the body.
Stroke recovery is the process of regaining strength, movement, speech, and independence afterwards. Early, intensive rehabilitation makes a meaningful difference — helping the brain rewire and patients return to daily life.
